Timesheets are automatically uploaded to the cloud after creation. We prioritized building working functionality first — the UI may feel basic, but the features are powerful. Based on reception and feedback, we'll continue improving the design.
What is a Timesheet?
A Timesheet is a master file that manages schedules for different departments, campuses, or programs. Each with their own data sources, but all coordinated together.
Decentralized Data
Data is organized into separate databases. Each database contains its own instructors, groups, units, and rooms.
Cloud-First
Automatically uploaded to the cloud after creation. Access from anywhere with the desktop app.
Flexible Assignments
Units created without pre-assigned instructors. Assign them at the group level for maximum flexibility.
Cloud Integration
The cloud tab shows all details about your timesheet in the cloud. It has 6 mini tabs for different functionalities.
Overview
Shows general details about the file in the cloud. The large indicator shows the relationship between local and cloud file:
- Green: Up to date
- Yellow: Local changes detected
Branches
Always have at least one branch. When creating a new timesheet, an "Initial Upload" branch is automatically created.
Collaborators
Manage and track access to the timesheet. The creator is automatically added as Admin. Three roles available:
- Viewer - can only view
- Editor - can modify data
- Admin - full access
Changes
Tracks all local changes made to the file — additions, deletions, and updates.
History
Shows changes made over time to the file from the initial upload. View the evolution of your timesheet.
Publications
Shows publications made from the timesheet. Publish to APIs or generate shareable links.
Sync Your Work
Push to Cloud
Upload all changes you've made locally to the cloud. Keeps your team in sync.
Pull from Cloud
Download and replace your local content with what's in the cloud.
Automatic Sync Check
Every time you open a timesheet (if online), a quick integrity check is performed
